The Hamburg Port Authority is a key organization responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, development, and maintenance of the Port of Hamburg, one of Europe's largest and most significant ports.
homePORT Hamburg was officially launched with test-beds, a container-campus and a team to accelerate maritime innovation within the Port of Hamburg. Together with a strong network of Partners, we focus more on hardware-driven innovation like autonomous Vehicles, 3D-Printing, and innovative workshop formats.
Together with strong partners from research, business and politics, we are creating a “driving force of maritime innovation” with homePORT and thus making an important contribution to supporting the diverse transformation efforts of the port industry and jointly shaping the port of the future.
Opentop, the Valenciaport innovation hub
The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) / VALENCIAPORT, is the public body responsible for running and managing three state-owned ports along an 80km stretch of the Mediterranean coast in Eastern Spain: Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía.
Opentop, the Innovation HUB and startup incubator of the Fundación Valenciaport, has tailor-made programs to help accelerate startups.
The main objective of this initiative, led by the Fundacion Valenciaportwith the support of the Autoridad Portuaria de València (APV), is to bring innovation closer to the companies and entities working in the three ports managed by the APV (Valencia, Sagunto and Gandia) with the aim of boosting their competitiveness.

The PIER by Halifax Port Authority
The Port of Halifax connects Canada to the world with 13 fixed day weekly services and 80 fixed day weekly global port calls. The Halifax Port Authority is a strategic port manager, with a mission to connect with global markets to create value for our customers, partners, visitors, and community. We take a leadership role in developing business for the Port of Halifax in collaboration with our partners and we responsibly manage Port of Halifax assets. The Halifax Port Authority (HPA) makes connections happen that attract and retain cargo and cruise activity to the Port of Halifax which delivers economic benefits to the local community, region and country.
The PIER is Canada’s first living lab dedicated to transportation, supply chain and logistics industries. The PIER has approximately 50 member companies and a growing ecosystem comprised of tech companies, local and global supply chain partners, researchers, SMEs, and startups. It is where key supply chain partners at the Port of Halifax can choose to collaborate to solve complex problems – they are focused on co-creating, testing and accelerating solutions including sustainable supply chains, that benefit Canada’s economy, the environment, and local community.
Cubo Itaú in strong Partnership to Port of Açu
Port of Açu is the largest deep-water and private industrial port complex in Latin America. Located in the North of Rio de Janeiro State. The industrial port enterprise was built upon the pillars of Efficiency and ESG & Innovation. In operation since 2014, it already has the 3rd largest iron ore private terminal in Brazil, is responsible for 30% of Brazil’s oil exports, is building the largest thermoelectric power park in Latin America and houses the largest offshore support base in the world.
Cubo Maritime & Port is an initiative of Cubo Itaú in partnership with Wilson Sons, Porto do Açu and Hidrovias do Brasil, which aims to create the largest innovation hub in the port sector in Latin America, bringing collaboration between large corporations and startups to develop new solutions to the difficulties of one of the largest ecosystems in the national economy.
Smartport Lab by Port of Bahía Blanca
Port of Bahía Blancastrong> is Argentina's primary deep-water maritime port complex. Handles diverse cargo across 14 terminals. Ranked as the world's 7th largest grain exporting port. In addition to its agricultural exports, the port is recognized as the 5th largest petrochemical hub in South America. Furthermore, it is acknowledged as the nation’s leading producer of hydrogen, generating an impressive output of approximately 200,000 tons per year. Additionally, the port is among the select group of 38 global ports involved in the exportation of ammonia, further diversifying its industrial portfolio and reinforcing its status as a critical node in international maritime trade.
Smartport Labis the innovation area of the port of Bahía Blanca. The western sector offers the best conditions for innovation in the logistics, port and industrial sectors. The main objective is to develop an innovation ecosystem in the industrial port environment of Bahía Blanca.
